I've frequented KOF across various locations, allowing me to provide an unbiased assessment of its strengths and weaknesses.

Pros:
The ambiance is pleasant, ensuring a comfortable experience without worrying about discomfort from heat.
Entertainment amenities like sound systems and TVs are available, with one location even having a gaming console.
They offer refreshments and beauty products for sale.
The interior design exudes a stylish salon aesthetic, complemented by comfortable seating.
Adequate staff.
Cons:

The excessively loud music, often unsuitable for families, can detract from the overall experience. Lowering the volume and diversifying the music selection could enhance customer comfort.
Despite ample staff, inconsistency in service quality and professionalism persists, reflecting a lack of standardized guidelines. This uncertainty can undermine customer satisfaction, particularly for new clients.
Observations reveal sporadic staff presence and inconsistency, including frequent turnover among female staff members.
Notably, there have been reports of overcharging tourist, highlighting the need for adherence to consumer protection regulations such as the Consumer Protection Act CAP 326D.
In essence, while KOF offers an appealing atmosphere and amenities, addressing issues of consistency and professionalism could significantly enhance the overall customer experience. Additionally, ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws would bolster trust and confidence among patrons.

Horrible shop. Went to the location at Sheraton for the second time and had the same result both times despite having a different barber. Most recently the barber seemed to be in a hurry and kept digging the razor into my skin resulting in it being cut and scabbed after a couple days. Never go here.

Real King of Fades. Was a pretty cool experience, excellent haircut, friendly atmosphere. We felt welcomed all the time.

Dont go here, they WILL scam you. Paid 60 BBD, the double of what the sign said. The haircut was not good either.

The haircut was good with a nice fade despite the barber not using scissors and only the trimmer. I didn't read the reviews ahead of time and there was confusion about the prices. I thought it was in Barbados dollars, but it turned out to be in US dollars. The total for a haircut and eyebrows was $33, excluding the tip. The staff was friendly but I found the prices to be on the higher side compared to other places. There was not wait.

Went here today and received a good haircut. But whenn it came time to pay the man who cut my hair did not take me to the cash register. He assumed I couldn't understand his dialect and told one of the other guys to charge me and they will split it. So I was charged in USD and not BBD. Now this signs simply say $30 and it was done for my convenience to have prices in USD. I argued and was given the run around. I paid my $60 BBD. I feel taken advantage of and not very welcome here.

Be careful! Price in the window BBD $30, he will charge you $60…when questioned, he said is his business he can charge whatever he wants! Scammer!

The place is lovely, nice set up. I found the music deplorable, children were there and the lyrics of the music full of cussing and explicit lyrics. The barber working on my son, stopped to get Guinness, drank while he worked and kept stopping to drink said drink and work the music. What should have been about twenty minutes to a half hour took about an hour. It was ridiculous! The hair cut wasn't all that either. This is the one in town, on the same side as Flanders, not sure of the service in other locations.

Top tier Barbershop, why? Because there are more than eight (8) stylists on the floor at any given time all capable of the exact same skills and that is because they're all trained at Barberschool before they reach the floor, they are all certified so no need for a personal stylist you have to get in line for. However it is a young people's world so expect a youthful ambience.

Went for a hair cut after seeing a advertisement board placed at St Lawerence Gap, waited around 20mins before sitting down for a cut which now I realise was the apprentice (another barber came over a few time to give him some advice which I don’t mind everyone starts off) it was good hair cut nothing amazing not a great job on my beard at all after sitting in the chair for around an hour.

The best part was I got charged $60 Barbados Dollars which is 3 times the regular amount now I’m told by locals (“they heard you talk”) tourist.

Not impressed business is business but that is just wrong …. The owner should be ashamed.
