26Reasonable prices, good selections, good staff, good management.only 1 thing they should have a bathroom for customers
Still, one of the best places to shop in Bim! Not the place with a shopping atmosphere/customer service, but the prices are among the most economical on the entire island nation.they carry good produce and brands! Keep making great choices for your patrons, Popular!
I notice a sliver of improvement in customer service
I was very happy with their selection They even had a band of tea that I did think was available. I would say that it has a tendency to be crowded so if possible go during the week day.
I like Popular stores. They have a wide variety of goods at absolutely the most reasonable prices, friendly staff and usually adequate parking. So when before 7: 00 a.m. The lines at the Kendal Hill store were already snaking outside the parking lot, I headed to Spry Street, which was happily not so crowded. There are two or three separate sections and so not finding butter in the first one, I went over to the second one with my already full bag. It was too heavy to tote around the store with me and so I left it in a shopping cart in the aisle. I bought two items, butter and Adobo. Some kind customers allowed me to stand in front of them because I had so few items. I paid for my items and went back to the aisle to retrieve my cart. Imagine my shock when my blouse was yanked and a female Security Officer was demanding to see the receipt for the Adobo. She was standing right by the Adobo when I asked a customer to hand it to me since I could not reach it. I don't know what she imagined, but I was most annoyed. I don't mind being asked, but I object to being tugged. I wish I could say that my response was without anger and that I didn't respond negatively to her aggression. Unfortunately, I informed her that she was lucky I did not respond as I felt and beat the s (and no it wasn't stuffing, though that would have been appropriate!) out of her, which is truly uncharacteristic behaviour for me. Surely Security Officers have the right to ask, but not physically accost persons before they can comply with a request. Of course I will continue shopping at Popular and I hope that never having had this experience before, it does not reoccur. It would be a shame to have to find bail money; or to have my face in the court section of the newspaper.
Not nice shopping there now. There is also a shortage of trollies and you have to wait a half hour or more to get one.
I love the fact that I found a produce cheaper in town which save me gas / busfare from this store
The best for groceries on town shopping all items from the list to the basket early or late each day.
Went in for a bag as a souvenir and left with some fizzy sweets, cheapest we've seen and in a little bucket. Well stocked but slow at the register.
The cheapest supermarket in Bridgetown I just can't shop anywhere else I always get my money's worth
Another of those stores where they should have limited the number of persons in store due to its congested layout.
I love to shop at popular 'You can get all your grocery's in here 'And everything else you need at popular supermarket's.
Popular supermarket had fantastic deals on a number of pantry items. The meat section was fully stocked and the meat looked clean and fresh. Cashiers were polite and the experience was welcoming on the whole.
I shop here and it was good no lines and I get everything I needed they had it except for alfredo pasta sauce by all the supermarkets I have been to dont have though as well so I hope they see this review and get back some none of they branches dont have it either. But I had easy shopping there in a long time.you have to go before the monthly paid period and before the bimonthly. I find its better no crowds
Hair To Care Salon,
Cane Garden Park
St Thomas. (Opposite the Mill Wall, St Michael)
Very congested and crammed space. Too small. Lazy and unproductive cashiers. Never have most of what you're looking for.
Popular live up to its name always. However because of the supposed pause of the country that going to take effect from February 3rd, people and panicking a little bit and rushing to get food items. But in general, it is always good when shopping there. Competitive prices the lower and middle-class man shopping center.
Congested and confused. Security in place taking your temperature and sanitizing. No parking. Staff offloading goods trucks during customers shopping. Aisles are congested.
As stated it is a popular establishment, well stocked, area at back.you can call for cut choice of meat or fish, plan accordingly the wait at cashier is a little longer than expected.
The cashier was pleasant however, some of the packers required further customer service training. For a small supermarket, I found it was well stocked.
Prices are moderately reasonable a bit tight space wise isle not as wide as other branches, not my main place for shopping however
