54Great parking space available excellent layout store however needs more variety of items to be a great shopping experience
You can get very good products at a very good price.although many things are worth it in quantity.what I don't like is that they charge you for being a member, that I haven't seen anywhere in the world.
Everything you need and some things you don't reasonably priced in one place. Be sure to take advantage of their order online and pick- up service.
The experience is fun. Shopping here could make you loose track of time but at the end it is always worth it. The you can end your shopping experience with a meal.
Great prices but cannot buy anything without a member's card present with you. So, not tourist-friendly.
They have what you need, good options.but wait is always so terrible that this store is always the last resort for me. If it's a quick stop you should consider somewhere else, but if you've got the time, then you won't be disappointed.
Lacks WiFi for guest
prices aren't competitive for certain items
but you can still save a few cents
membership price is ridiculously high and upsetting
Well stocked store with some good deals. Customer service is not good, I bought (paid for) a mini fridge for my son's university dorm room, and explained that I would have to collect it later in the week due to my transportation limitations and the fact that he was not allowed to move in for a few days (we were staying at a hotel, so couldn't store it). The salesperson was fine with that and did not indicate that there was a policy that if an item is not collected within a day or two, it is put back on the showroom floor. When we returned, the fridge was sold. And that model was out of stock. They had nothing similar. The refund process took long in store. And the refund took a week to hit my credit card. Additionally, the staff was generally unhelpful. I would give them fewer stars, but if you don't need help and just go there to shop for groceries, I imagine that your shopping experience could be very good.
This place brings me so much joy and happiness. Going through the aisles, looking at prices and admiring the items is an adventure.
This has to be the only local company with an online store that shows accurate stock info. They need to improve on answering phone calls and adjusting a bit more quickly to adding additional cashiers when it's busy.
UPDATE!:
Customer service training for the cashiers is a must. 2 visits in a row I experienced rude cashiers, on the 1st occasion I was chastised for not putting a heavy item on the belt (which could damage it), I had placed it at the front of the cart with the barcode pointing up for easy access, her response was that she doesn't want to have to reach for the handheld scanner when I could just put it on the belt. This week, a different cashier just ignored my dad when he came to her station which was open and asked if it was OK to start putting the items on the belt (she might have needed to sanitize the area 1st) just in case she may not have heard his question, I went closer and repeated his question and she looked me in the face, took up a piece of paper and started filling in information. After repeating myself & not receiving an answer, we went to the opposite cashier, behind the customer being dispatched. The 2 ppl behind us in the original line moved over. While cashing our items our cashier asked the previous 1 if her station was open, she clearly responded and said YES. We looked back to the other customers and they had the same shocked look. When 1 of them moved over to her station, she got up and walked away.
DO BETTER OF HIRE SOME OF THE HUNDREDS OF PPL CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED!
3% of the staff indoors are helpful, knowledgeable and professional; specifically Akua and Adrian - they usually work at the entrance or in large appliances and electronics sections. The only reason shopping is conducted here is because of the products in bulk and the areas always appear clean. There is no word to describe the service. No one bothers to answer the phones either.
Great wholesale shopping. A number of home grown products seen on the shelves like locally produced pork sausages.
Reasonable prices. Need create a better customer experience by providing more assistance on the floor
I have found it difficult to find the items I want in this shop. When u check the website the items are in stock but when u get there and u look around more often than not they are wrapped up on pallets and not on the shelf. When u ask if somebody can take down the item that never happens and by the time u get back everything is gone. A complete waste of time and effort. Not to mention the prices of cereals are too high and the ridiculous policy of making people buy milk and juice in pairs. One other thing the door staff should be taking temperature in accordance with covid protocols not just sanitizing hands. Do better
Yesterday I spent ages ordering click and go, entering payment by cc and receiving an email asking to verify my email. I tried several times to verify with no response, and was unable to finis my order.
Appreciate any helpful information to use click and go next time.
This morning store, as usual, was busy. Perhaps a keep to the left system in aisles
would prevent blockages. Check out very busy but moved quite quickly. Need some peanut butter and members tuna, a must for me.
This store always seems to surprise me as it appears to almost have everything! And we'll priced merchandise, at that.
Definitely worth a visit, near the Warrens intersection.
Pricesmart need to work on their customer service. Its very rare I find the cashiers even remotely pleasant or friendly. Its not easy to get help when trying to find something and if they have something on their website as 'available' that doesn't mean you can find it anywhere in the store.
As everyone would know by now I dislike crowded places, but I can say that this is by far one of the best places to buy your stuff in bulk from, if you have a small food business (like I do) this is one of the best places to buy your stock from, you get more and spend less (at least to me). I just hate the fact that right now there's a long line now since Covid-19 but I still love it.
What can you say about PriceSmart? They sell bulk supplies at lower prices. Some of their foodstuffs aren't available elsewhere in the vicinity. Despite the number of cashiers being high, the lines for the cashiers are always annoyingly long.
No consistency on products at all.couldn't find the head& shoulders shampoo anymore, after several looking I saw a reminiscence of it on the very top shelf impossible to reach without a ladder, the sour cream missing for a week, avocado oil missing for more than a month, no corn flour. I get tired of waisting my time going there. The employers not knowing where the products are and not much initiative on helping the customer.
