The Palms Resort

A great little hotel, tucked away from all the noise and traffic, but still within walking distance to the beach and shops.
Our room, the 2 bedroom apartment, was a great size and space with lots of useful amenities.

Celebrated my birthday at palms resort and I must say from the reception area to the gardener is very helpful. I will be back and of course I shall recommend here to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful area to relax.ohhh do not forget the pool, clean and warm.

I just finished a 3 night stay for my daughter's 13th birthday and I am ready for mine to come so I can go back! Friendly and helpful staff, nice clean rooms and walking distance to lots of places to eat and Massy supermarket is within walking distance too.

This is such a lovely place to stay its so nice and quite, love the modern decor of the room nice n cozy. The service was excellent over all everything was great

We had a wonderful time at Palms Resort. Perfect location with the beach, bars, restaurants & shops all within walkable distance. Gorgeous vegetation! I miss watching the monkeys & feeding the birds from our veranda.

I stayed at Travellers Palm in October 2021. Loved the super clean pool, the privacy being tucked into a residential area just off the busy strip and the ability to use the Beach House nearby. Room was spacious with a full kitchen and all the amenities were provided that I needed for my work/holiday vacation. Super friendly staff and the night security always made me feel safe and secure. Well done!

The pool was very nasty. The air conditioning unit in our room wasn't working. The bedroom windows can't open because it's made with air condition in mind so naturally it was a oven. Also, tv was like a 14 inch with 5 channels. In the very least, we had fun making jokes at how bad it was.

Just returned from a lovely 10 night stay at Halcyon Palm. Really nice apartments which are cleaned daily and are close to all amenities and the beach. Perfect base for a fantastic holiday

Stayed here for a month, wi fi was very poor, changed rooms because of noisy music in bar and the wi fi was worse, pool lacked a good clean in the whole 4 weeks we stayed there

Everything you need - we had a small kitchenette to prepare breakfast and there was a grocery store around the corner. We were very comfortable and the service was excellent!

Small friendly budget resort, but rather quiet at present. Some upating needed. Reception staff are excellent and always try to address any issues you may have.

Awesome vibe. Great entertainment! (Barbados' own Willie Nelson - The Red Men). Super chill atmosphere and excellent location on the St Lawrence gap.

I had great service. Steve is The bomb. I stayed for 3 days for my birthday weekend.everything was clean.the pool is nice. Not much but there is room for improvement

Only 2 persons gets access to the Wi-Fi.

Makes no sense, but apart from that it was ok.

it's Island Stay on the Cheap! And its CLEAN and Comfortable! Stayed at Halcyon Palm, 9 nights.so worth it! Book it with confidence!

Twin beds for two grown adults, 2 cotton ball pillows, i used cushions from the living room chairs. I asked for blankets and I was given ONE twin blanket. I gave 3 stars because of the peace and quiet.oh and I found a water bottle under one of the beds.

Staff were very friendly and provided a good service. If you're looking to stay in St James then I certainly recommend this hotel.

15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and 10 minute walk to the nearest beach.

Only negative - no washing up liquid in the room, however when I quizzed staff on this they were happily resolved this. You just have to ask for it.

Clean hotel!

Its nice place for any one to relax and do ur own thing.the only down side is there is not much space for parking.

This was the worst experience. House keeping didn't come some days so no fresh towels were received or bins emptied. The WiFi kept dropping. Stayed six days and not one day the rooms were swept. Bed sheets weren't changed.
