The Royal Bliss Barbados

We stayed at TRB for 8 nights in late January, early February. The hotel is in a good location - central to Bridgetown and other beaches on the same coast.
We had a 2BR (7) apartment with beach views. The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The AC and house cleaning service was on point.
The beds were full-size beds (a bit smaller than what we're used to). The surrounding area is very lively. Lots to eat and enjoy and relax.
The BR facing the beach could use with a new soundproof door (like the kitchen area) but it was not a big deal.
The hosts, Andre and Karen, were indeed gems that made our stay that much more enjoyable. They were very helpful and easy to connect with if we needed anything.
I recommend this hotel if you're looking to go to Barbados

The Royal Bliss Barbados is a gem that will take your breath away. This was my first time in Barbados and I could not have selected a better location. It fit my needs perfectly. The beach in front of the Royal Bliss was pristine. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well. My room was spotless and well-appointed. The wi-fi was excellent. The views were incredible - I saw an amazing sunset every night.

If you want a place to rest and relax - the Royal Bliss will more than meet your needs.

If like me you travel to see as much as possible the Royal Bliss will exceed your expectations. Each morning I was there began with a walk on the beach and on occasion a sea bath. Then I would take a short walk down the road to the bus stop and begin exploring the island. Some of the places I visited included the fishing village of Bathsheba, the Andromeda Botanical Gardens, Friday night fish fry at Oistino, Garrison Savannah, Barbados Museum, Speightown, St. Nicholas Abbey, George Washington House.the Nidhe Synagogue.

So, I will spend the rest of my time focusing on my hosts Karen and Andre who were exceptional. They went way above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They made me feel like family. Thank you Karen and Andre!

This gem of a hotel on this beautiful island is so worth booking. Recently renovated and truly beachfront! You take 5 steps and you're in the water. Located next to a restaurant for convenience. Walking distance to St. Lawrence Gap where there are many other great restaurants. About 20 minutes in either direction to get to other side of the island. 10 minutes from the airport. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Great culinary experience on the island. Karen and Andre (the lovely couple who own this beautiful boutique hotel) really went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome. The Island is very safe. They recommended so much on the island and their recommendations did not disappoint. We were 2 couples visiting and were all so impressed by their hospitality. They made us feel like family. They deserve all the stars!

This is a late post but I have to say this beautiful place is right by the ocean. Andre and Karen are fantastic couple who would make sure your stay is as you dreamed. Gorgeous, clean, ocean side, walking distance to the market, beach and restaurants. We will definitely come back!

Stayed at the Royal Bliss for 9 fabulous days the hotel is right on the beach 10/10 for location the room was spotless and very well equipped 10/10 and to top it all off Karen & Andre the most perfect hosts 10/10 I’d highly recommend to anyone & most certainly I’d be back

We stayed her in January 2023. I have been working as Cabin crew for a major airline for 33 years. This is one of the most amazing hotels, and I’ve stayed in many. What makes it special? The location is right on the beach, you can not get closer. The room is very stylish, we had a sea view. It’s always great to have a kitchenette. You can get up and have breakfast whenever you want. Karen and Andre, the owners are so welcoming. This hotel feels luxurious yet homely. There are restaurants nearby and music in the evenings some nights. Also a supermarket and a French bakery 10 mins away. We had such a relaxing time. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week in February. I reached out a week ahead of time for transportation from the airport and back. They had a driver ready for us at pick up which was amazing. Upon our arrival to The Royal Bliss, Karen and Andre greeted us and showed us around. They are very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. We couldn't ask for a better location on the island; beach front, restaurants on both sides of the property (among many others just a quick walk away), a nice grocery store that is very close, easy public transportation to Bridgetown and Oistins. Karen and Andre are great people who only want the best for their guests. You'll be in great hands if you stay here.

We spent two weeks at The Royal Bliss in December. It was a wonderful experience. We have been coming to Barbados for the past six years and this is the best hotel/apartment we have stayed in. We stayed in a self catering studio. Everything there that we needed. So clean and new. The hosts Andre and Karen are wonderful and friendly. Nothing is any trouble if we needed any help or assistance. We had our own beach area with sunbeds included with the shade of the palm trees.
It's a great location. Best yet. Wonderful beach. Entertainment and bars are all local. Can't praise it enough. Hope to be back!

We had such a great experience staying at the Royal Bliss. Karen and Andre are the best, very nice people and extremely helpful. The rooms are very nice and modern as was our bathroom. On top of that, the beach is beautiful and everything you could need is within a couple minutes walk. Really glad We chose to stay there!

During our stay at The Royal Bliss Karen and Andre were phenomenal hosts, friendly, welcoming and made us feel like we were family immediately as we arrived. We enjoyed evey moment of our stay from relaxing on the beach, walking along the shore talking with other guests. The location is excellent with beach front view and access. It is walking distance to shops which is very convenient. Nearby to to bars, and the St Lawrence Gap. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and amazing host. We will definitely be returning in the future and bring more of our family. Would recommend anyone to visit.

My family and I, 2 adults, 2 seniors and a youth stayed at the Royal Bliss this summer and it was the most unforgettable trip we've had. Karen and Andre, the owners treated us like family (if you charged your family to stay with you). Everyday they would greet us and ask if we needed anything at all, drove my grandparents to get groceries and other errands when we were away. They allowed us to use their barbecue to have family dinners which saved alot of money. On days when the younger crowd went to explore we'd come back hours later to our grandparents being entertained by Karen and Andre we always felt safe and comfortable knowing they weren't going to let anything happen to them and being that they are in their 80's that was a huge relief. The hotel is newly renovated and spick and span clean gorgeous design and decor. We woke up to the view of the beach and saw the most beautiful sunrises and sets. Then fell back to sleep because the beds were so comfortable. During the day we could swim right outside of our room. Entertainment at St. Lawrence Gap was only a 5 minute walk away where we could enjoy the night life as a couple. And other attractions weren't far away, we managed to see the entire island in 7 days and drove back to the Royal Bliss each night. The best parts were 1.the safety, I always felt a sense of peace even walking back from the gap at 2am. The doors are always locked and they have many cameras but also the people who you meet on the street are so kind everyone says good morning or good evening. 2. The hotel itself is so beautiful you dont want to leave it. You can cook to save money and the rooms were spacious with 2 balconies and a living room kitchen and 2 bathrooms. So you never felt crammed in. 3. The location is right on the beach and very close walking distance to many activities or a short drive. 3. The hospitality of the owners. These are some of the kindest most generous people we have met, they really seem in the business for the love of a peaceful life and providing that to others. Its not often you miss a place and the people that you just met but we all do and we will definitely return each year for our family holiday.

Amazing location with spectacular beachfront property and views. Newly renovated boutique hotel owned by an incredibly friendly couple that provides top notch service. Walking distance to several restaurants. Family friendly- we will be back again soon. Also- great WiFi.

Location. Service. Luxury. My overall stay was amazing and the staff was some of the best in the biz. A true beachfront experience at The Royal Bliss. Definitely will be back.

Location: The hotel is located within minutes walking distance to the St Lawrence Gap which is a popular tourist hot spot that has a bevy of restaurants and bars. Also right outside the hotel block is tons of convenient stores (both regular and organic) for all your independent food needs. Also not to mention the hotel is located in the middle of two great local bar which carry a true Barbados essence of good vibes, drinks, and food. Lastly lets not forget the best part they are actually on the beach where you can wake up and hit the ocean literally in seconds.

Service: The staff was exceptional. From the cleaninless of the rooms and common areas of the hotel down to just the overall check in process. They were available at all times for questions and to provide suggestions on things to do, eat, and or drink. It's tough to just classify it as just a hotel because it truly felt like staying with family.

Luxury: Some hotels the pictures are embellishments of the actual look. I was happy to see how the pictures on the site were spot on to the actual property. A true representation of when instagram/ internet matches reality. The rooms felt I was staying at luxury home back in US. From stainless steel appliances down to just the overall decor. They provided a first class look.

Outstanding service from Andre and Karen! They were so accommodating and friendly. The renovations look great and you can’t beat the location and views. Great for families and couples. We will be booking again soon! Thanks again for a great relaxing trip!

My wife and I stayed at The Royal Bliss this week for our first visit to Barbados. We had a phenomenal time and The Royal Bliss contributed to our enjoyment. The facility is very nice and the owners made us feel welcome to the point that when we left, we felt like family. That type of customer service is rare to non existent. I give the Royal Bliss 6 stars. The Royal Bliss will see us again. Thank you again.

This hotel is EXCELLENT. It was extremely clean, great location (amazing beach view every single morning), and all of the amenities were stellar. I loved my stay and I would give it a 10/10. Everything about the hotel was spectacular, and if you visit, you would not regret your experience. The next time you’re in the Barbados, make sure you stay at the Royal Bliss—it was so beautiful. This is my new destination spot whenever I’m in Barbados!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal Bliss. Everything is brand new and I was able to literally step out of the hotel and onto the beach. It’s a great location with great nightlife and restaurants all within walking distance… I can’t wait to book my next trip to Barbados and more importantly my return to the Royal Bliss.

For our summer family trip, we stayed at the impeccably decorated and redesigned Royal Bliss hotel. The owners, Andre and Karen were very attentive and welcoming! They made our stay even more pleasurable and it felt like home away from home. Our suite had a stunning beachfront view. It offers modern amenities and nicely accommodates a family.

The beach is lined with palm trees and had a stunning view of it’s turquoise sea. The beach is so relaxing and serene that the waves lull you to sleep. The hotel also located just minutes from St. Lawrence Gap which offers a fun nightlife. Can’t wait to visit again!
