I am so happy I received this request. I had a very bad experience today. Today is the second occasion that I encountered the person who restock the vegetables. She is one of the most uncouth individuals I have met. Her customer service leaves a lot to be desired. On the first occasion when I encountered her I just decided to ignore her attitude because I figured she was having a bad day. But today took the icing from the cake. She was very obnoxious. I resolved after this encounter that Popular will never spend a cent of my hard earned money if she is to benefit. She definitely needs training. She is a heavy set person (I fail to call her a lady), dark and looks mature. I hope she gets help and learns to be more courteous. I can expound on my experience if management cares to listen.

Went to Popular, Kendall Hill this morning and had a very bad experience. The Supervisor did not apologize. I am not about to tolerate substandard service from anyone when my spending keeps them employed

I went to ch ch this evening an the cashier was very disrespectful I told her I want $1.00 in bags for my stuff an she look at me an gave me 2bags I told her it was not enough cause am walking so I want them double she got upset an leave me there standing up i was on the 1-10 line sum of urll cashier's at ch ch they are not nice at all

MOST horrible customer service. Employees are lacking in all aspects and clearly do not want to be there. Items are missing all the time. BASIC items like milk, onions, mozzarella cheese, carrots, etc.
If I could give the place zero stars, I would. Super slow to get to the cashier, because they are slow and lazy and don’t want to do their job. Same with packers, ended up packing my groceries alone. Brought it up to the manager on duty and she didn’t seem to care at all and was not apologetic at all. WORST customer service on the island.

Needs to teach the cashiers, check outs, supervisors and guards how to speak to customers and handle any issues that may arise. I had a terrible experience in there this morning myself and 2 other friends I have never felt so disrespected in my life. There is a way to speak to people and it was not showcased this morning

I made a grave error trying to get some shopping done before heading to work yesterday morning. There were only 5 cashiers available to serve the customers, some of whom had trolleys that were heavily packed. Imagine 14 cashier stations but only 5 were on duty at the start.
My first concern is that myself and a number of persons in front of me were in a queue for some time before being informed that there was no cashier available. Precious time wasted!

Secondly, and to make matters worse, packers seemed to be scarce so the cashier had to pack the bags as well. I spent almost an hour and a half hour (no exaggeration) in this supermarket and it was not even for my monthly grocery shopping. I completed my purchases at 8: 55 a.m.

The prices are definitely not the best around as some have indicated. Shoppers, let's be honest! And while I will not get into any details (this is the second time in a relatively short space of time that I have had a similar experience), some of the staff need training in good customer service.

As for that "competition", I wasted no time looking at any entry forms that only say "thank you for shopping". I placed them where they belong before leaving, in the garbage bin!

What's the point of the security signing my bill? Y'all see PriceSmart doing it so y'all wanna do it too? She still doesn't know what's in my trolley. I literally just left cashier. Make it make sense.

Poor parking accommodation, not enough spaces, not enough trolleys for customers, they have to wait in line to receive a trolly. This also occurs at the Spooner Hill Branch, Pricing is not as attractive as previous years, there is some.pricing that is higher than Massy Supermarkets. Be vigilant on expired merchandise, as it is not cleared from shelves frequently

The red onions missing for weeks, the shrimps brand changed, mozzarella cheese was missing for weeks, different cereal types missing, no avocado oil.

The line outside the supermarket was ridiculous. Since the pandemic there have been lines to get into the supermarket. Sigh. That's the down side. But the prices are very reasonable compare to other supermarkets. And you find everything in there.

Compared to prices in Canada, not that cheap but that is the whole island not specific to it. Crowded and the checkout is very slow. Maybe because of the holidays. Other than that, found what we wanted.

There were many positives such as the regular amenities e.g ample parking, clean surroundings, security, friendly staff,
- for the most part - well stocked shelves, clean and fresh looking stock, good lighting etc.
However, in the context of what currently obtains around the world, there were way too many customers in the store.
Another downside for me was the uavailability of some items such as onions (for a while) and little choice in tissue hand towels. The price tags on some items were missing as well.
Not sure whether they were on break or what but some of the security staff on the outside were, if on duty, not paying much attention to their surroundings - too much bantering -
Notwithstanding the downsides I was pleased when I did not spend as much money as I was expecting to, since I got almost everything on my list.
I'll certainly be back here.

Nice place to purchase goods, you can find an adequate amount of different verities of an item, but very long queues and many counters are usually closed, also the cashiers are usually very slow to check the items, not good to purchase less than 10 items, as you gonna spend at least 30-45 minutes to cash the items and come out, but overall a nice place to purchase goods.

Good affordable shopping place low prices helpful staff well stocked shelves and clean spacious floor area.depending on the time of visit.queuing can be long.big spacious parking lot.well visible markings.but not a for some shade

Great shopping prices for this recession we're in but if you don't go at an off peak time, expect waiting in the checkout line from 30 to 60 mins

Popular is spacious and convenient if you live close by but prepare to wait in aisle long lines to check out.

Unhelpful staff, they need training in customer service. Example. Me: "Excuse me, where can I locate the honey? Answer: '"Customer service". Great variety of products though.

Very good supermarket, prices are good. Wide variety of goods but long lines at cashiers most of the time. Wait can be tiring.

Great supermarket. Most of the prices are reasonable. There is variety of brands for each article. The aisles are clean and sanitizing of hands is done before entrance. Also, your temperature is taken. Overall you can find practically a majority of food items at this place.

No outside line but a queue created when it was time to go to cashier. Cashier line moved quickly. Overall it was great.
